DESCRIPTION:

This Service Bulletin replaces Bulletin LA00001R2 to indicate that stock is limited. Please
discard all electronic and paper copies of that previous Bulletin.

The pinion nut tool part number 150102800, to assist you with the proper tightening of the pinion
nut – part number 940800902, has been deemed obsolete at the PDC due to lack of usage. There
is limited stock still available at DPNI. Once that stock is depleted, you will have to make this tool
locally. Refer to the following pages for the dimensions.

When torquing the pinion nut, position the splined shaft into the input gear and the dowel pins into
the transmission mounting holes. Refer to Service Manual 1400YRM0285 for proper torque specs.
