Charging Instructions
The RayzorXPro system has two sets of batteries, one located in the CDU (laptop) and one in the ICU.
These batteries allow for a working span of over 5 hours in the field.
For Maximum performance, both batteries should be charged before and after each assignment.
1. Connect the AC Power Cord to the AC socket of the unit and plug it into a standard AC power
socket (110/220V AC). The light on the Interface Box indicates that it is receiving AC current.
2. Place the ICU on the operational shelf in the case.
3. Unreel enough ICU/CDU Cable (50m Cable) from the Cable Reel to reach the ICU.
4. Connect the free end of the 50m Cable to the “CDU” socket (marked white) on the ICU.
5. Connect the short end of the 50m Cable to the “ICU” socket on the Interface Box (marked white).
The ICU charging display should show an arrow pointing upwards, indicating that the ICU battery is
charging.
6. Leave the system to charge. When “100%” is shown on the display, the ICU battery is fully
charged. A period of 6 hours is needed for charging a totally depleted ICU battery.
Note: Like all lithium batteries, the ICU’s lithium battery has a natural discharge even when not in
use. Make sure the battery is fully charged before every work session.
