Margo Bryce was able to obtain this data on children in DCF custody placed at Kurn Hattin, but
please note this is only entry data, as in new placements at Kurn Hattin each calendar year.  This
does not reflect how many children remained year-to-year or discharged, which she said could be
obtained but with additional work and time. 
 
She and I quickly reviewed the children placed in more recent years and it appears the primary
placing districts are Springfield, Rutland, and Brattleboro, which makes sense - Kurn Hattin is used as
a community program rather than referred to statewide as we do for other residential programs.
