    New POEA email account for immediate assistance on inquiries

    The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has created a more


    secured new email account for the inquiries of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and
    other clients who needed timely and relevant information on the services and programs
    of the administration.
    This after the POEA decided to disabled its 10-year old email account, the
    info@poea.gov.ph, which was targeted by hackers to use for online illegal schemes.
    POEA clients, especially the OFWs and overseas job applicants are now advised to
    send their inquiries and concerns to connect@poea.gov.ph, and warned to be cautious
    with dealing with emails pretending as POEA.
    Also, clients can contact POEA through its Hotlines 722-11-44 / 722-11-55 and visit its
    website at http://www.poea.gov.ph/ for time to time updates.###
