This conditional sentence is used to remind about a consequence that must be done if you want a
condition that occurs.

IF + SIMPLE PRESENT, S + HAVE TO/HAS TO/ MUST + V1

Contoh 1

Mom    : Do you want to join the next scrabble competition Jean?

Jeanny : Yes i do mom, and i really want to be the winner.

Mom    : If you want to be the winner, you have to practice a lot.

Jeanny : Thanks mom.

Contoh 2

Jessy   : Okay Anna, i do agree with you.

Anna    : I think final exam is getting closer. It’s time for us to study more seriously.

Anna    : If we want to pass the exam, we must study harder.

Jessy   : Yeah, we must do this from now.

This type of conditional sentence is used to give advice about what should be done if you want a

condition to occur .
