 We will target a wide verity of tourists through a 360 degree marketing campaign,

emphasizing on the social media due to its scale and interactive involvement.
Outdoor:
Billborads:- Various print media advt will be displayed on billboards on highways like
Mumbai-Pune. We will put billboards across cities and across states in order to cater larger
mix of target customer.
 Roads shows:- Promotional events will be used in order to make Namaste! Maharashtra
a ‘TOP OF THE MIND’ recall. Send in your ‘Adventure Story’ campaign will be
conducted, wherein we will ask the travels and tourist who have already visited places in
Maharashtra to send in their Travel/Adventure stories to us. We will give some free tour
tickets or MTDC hotel accommodations to winner.
Print Media
Print media advt will be published in various regional newspaper and magazines. Few
themes will be selected for the print advertisements and over a period of stipulated time.
Print media advt will be published in foreign tours and travel magazines, in order to cater
to the foreign tourist. Please refer to detailed description of print media advt.
Social Media:

Viral Campaign(Internet) :

 A dedicate page on facebook/twitter with frequent updates. Various places and


events will be promoted through facebook page.
 People can have discussion on various topics including how to reach a place, what
to see there.
 This platform will be used in order to cater to the needs and demands of foreign
tourist as they are easily approachable through this powerful medium.
Social Media Campaign

We will run a social media campaign on the lines of ‘Jaago Re’ and ‘What an Idea Sirji’ our
campaign will be called as ‘Save your monuments’ where in we will have a social drive and
appeal to the people asking them not to defame and destroy our age old heritage and
monuments may be by throwing garbage or by writing some derogatory message on the walls
etc. We need to project our self as an responsible and socially concerned organisation. This
will help in increasing the ‘Brand Equity’ of MTDC.

Web:

We will have a dedicate team working for promotion over Web. As today web is the
fastest growing media and advertisement avenue. We will enhance the web site to have
more interaction tourists and people visiting MTDC places. We will photo galley wherein
they can upload their photos. We will have a MTDC blog, wherein people will be updated
about upcoming tours and packages at the same time people can have discussion about any
issues or suggestion related to travel or with MTDC. We will have a frame work with
which their queries will be resolved through proper channels or MTDC officials. various
web banners will be created and circulated for the promotion.

Radio Campaign

Herein will promote MTDC through radio to various parts, due to its wider reach. We will be
able to reach an urban as well as rural audience very effectively and cost efficiently. We will
have a travel show where in we will have discussion about various places to visit, local food,
how to reach, where to stay etc. Every week we will discuss about some diffent palce to vist
according to the peak season or the atmosphere to visit that place. We will also play MTDC
advertisements over radio in various timeslots to promote the band.
