To understand your customers, you need to get in their heads and see the
world from their perspective
You can begin by thinking about broad demographics like age, income,
gender, location, language, etc.
Once you have that broad information, you can start thinking about more
specific information like the types of habits they have, the places they frequent,
and anything else you can think of that will help you get to know them.
You can get this information from Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, polls,
surveys, interviews, research on forums, or any other source that you might
have available to you
it's important that you build out your avatar as detailed as possible to really
bring them to life
After you've filled out the four quadrants in the empathy map, you'll look at
your customers in a whole new way.
