POSTER CONTEST
How It Works:
Students may submit a poster or 30 second PSA video that explains the key components of the OK2SAY program, including how it
works and the benefits for students, parents and schools. Entries must follow strict guidelines to qualify for the best video and best
poster prizes.

Eligibility:
This contest is open to Michigan students currently enrolled in grades 6 through12. The competition is not open to family members
of the judges. Individual or group work is accepted (prizes split evenly). Only one submission per student will be accepted which
includes any student who is part of a group.

Copyrigh Rules:
Video and poster content must adhere to the Copyright and
Fair Use guidelines; meaning all media parts must be original
work and/or are royalty and license-free. Entries should not
include images or footage of identifiable brands and logos, artist
recordings, or television/movie content. Contest participants are
encouraged to use royalty-free sources available online, if needed.
Judging:
Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges for originality,
creativity, and clear messaging of the OK2SAY program. Judges will
consist of a panel of MASSP Principals, MASC/MAHS students and
representatives from the Attorney General’s office. The top
poster/PSA entries will be posted to the MASSP website and social
media for public voting.

Theme:
Video/PSA submissions must represent the goal of OK2SAY, to allow students to confidentially report tips on
potential harm or criminal activities in their schools and community as well as explain how to use OK2SAY as
a resource.
Copy:
Posters and PSAs must contain the following copy:

A credit line with the student’s name and school’s name is allowed.
Entry Form:
A completed entry form is required to be turned in at the time the poster entry is submitted. The entry
form requires a parent signature for any students involved in the creation of the poster as well as a school
administrator’s approval. Any persons appearing in any submitted project must sign and submit a release
form with the entry submission.

PSA Video Poster

Length:
All entries must be under 30 seconds
Digital Submission:
Videos can be submitted via a YouTube or Vimeo
link or in .mov, .mpeg or .mp4 formats.
Media:
Any mixed media is allowed, including computer-
generated graphics and live video. All video
content must be original content by the student(s)
(see copyright rules). All video submissions must
include the OK2SAY logo.
Disclaimer: By submitting your video PSA or poster, you are giving
MASSP the approved consent to keep and use materials for future
promotions and communications including, but not limited to OK2SAY,
MASSP and MASC/MAHS websites, social media, youtube, and email.
Hard copy materials and digital files will not be returned to students.
Size:
Posters can be horizontal or vertical with 16 x 20
dimensions.
Digital Submissions:
File format must be .pdf, .png or .jpeg
Hard Copy:
If you are working with non-digital media (i.e. paint,
pencils, oils, etc.) drop off or mail to the MASSP Office,
1001 Centennial Way, Suite 100, Lansing, MI 48917.
Submissions must be delivered by entry deadline.
Media:
Any mixed media suitable for reproduction as a poster
is allowed, including computer-generated graphics.
Posters must be original art created by the student(s).
All poster submissions must include the OK2SAY logo.
