Question:

Does being ethical, can base on age, gender and status in life?

First the meaning of ethical in dictionary are involving or

expressing moral approval or disapproval and it can be also conforming to accepted standards of

conduct or ethical behavior. As the definition itself is like the way we react or to reason out one

situation we are involve in, it can be moral or not moral and it can also base on the particular

religion of one individual.

But the main question I want to point out is that being ethical is do

actually based on age, gender and also status in life. Given a scenario, first we go tackle the age

matter, we Filipinos have this culture that if you’re young, you don’t have actually the power to

voice out your own opinion, feelings etc. that well goes to being ethical. That in some point

because of this kind of thinking our society thought that if you are not in the right age to think

what’s right and wrong, you are expected not to do or you are like allow to do things not

ethically, because the main fact is you are young.

Nevertheless, in some ways the reasoning there is pointless, first

being young should not be an excuse to be reckless, prudence, not acting morally or simply not

being ethical. And as a human we have our own reasoning and capability to naturally without

anyone’s influence to know what good and evil.

So as for me is not really the reason or an acquit that the age is can

be a based to act ethically. Like again there are most of people who are in their right age, who are
much older, who have more broad capability of good reasoning in one subject, matter and

situation are actually not doing or acting ethically. That in here you can really see that the age

doesn’t have the ground to not to be moral citizen of the society.

Next to discuss is the gender, is really the gender can be a based to

act or judge the matter and situation ethically?

As we know that we have two gender the man and woman or

what’s the right term is male and female, but it’s 21 st century a lot of changes and bumpy road on

this matter that resulting more gender to consider but first we talk about the two main gender, the

male and female.

Male and female are different to one another, from the number of

Y and X chromosome, from the physical attributes to emotional level they have so many

differences, so thus the gender can be a based to act ethically?

Given a situation that a beggar or child who have nothing to eat

that is locating outside of a mall or a supermarket, many people are just passing through and not

minding them but there’s one person who go to the supermarket, that they think is just like the

others who just pass by but actually this person go to the grocery store just to buy some bread

and water for the beggar and the child and this person is a she. And talking to that person the

main reason why she helps or buy some food for them because she feels empathy, she feels bad

for them that she can eat three or more than three times a day and this people cannot relate to that

because they have the right amount or capability to do that or buy foods that they can eat.

Here we can see the emotional aspect of a female affect her

decision making on helping the one who needed it. I’m not patronizing it because I’m a woman

but we all know that the woman or a female entitled to be more emotional that men or male,
because male are more reasoned or critical thinker, who are the most people who used or based

their decision in their mind or capability to reasoned out, like the other way around in the

woman’s world that we most female, we do decide what, who, which, where, etc. on our emotion

or mood.

That’s why in some point we are thought to be more ethical that

the opposite one. Because we do things based on our feelings that in so many ways it’s ethical,

and we are also entitle to do or to act more ethically and morally that the men can act. That we

can probably say that it’s wrong or that subjective on so many ways.

Because first we are all human have brain and right knowledge to

act ethically, and as we tackle men thought to be more critical thinker so I guess gender will not

be a loophole to do things not ethically. As men should not question that they are men so some of

their doings right even if not, but I think the main reason is the society who curves it to the way

of how we perceive this situation like on the age matter.

But again we are in the new millennium and there is so many

changes here and there, that you can’t actually point out where it’s started or how or why it is

started like having more than two genders.

LGBTQ, is now accepted in some part of the globe and also in

some other people in the country, but as we go on there so many negative connotations to them.

That such as there are not morally and ethically persons by doing or being like the others.

That in some minds and opinion this is a way to do things outside

the church or religion. But for me again this is not a reason or an acquit to act not morally or

ethically, yes it’s new I think we should consider as one of the lather group that the others cannot

comprehend that much on what’s we are preterning for, and as the group of people who in the
original circle, we should be more reasonable and understanding on that matter, to not judge

them. Because gender is not really the base of acting ethically.

And lastly on the question is the status of your life or in life can be

actually a based on acting ethically? Are you in lowest bracket, middle or high class?

Just even with or before our grandparents borne the class or the

bracket on the society is in there. Is printed to our blood, what or where do we in the society, in

this matter you can actually visualized, what kind of life you will have, what kind of people you

can interact with. And this kind of matter in some point the way we reason out is based on our

status in life.

Showcase a situation in our modern world, people who live in the

slams area tend to be more aggressive, not ethically people and that’s because of their

surrounding, and they’re day to day basis. That have to strive hard, no name, no bloodline can

tell if you did something quite not good it’s also create a not quite scenario.

As we can also reflect on the opposite one. The [high vlass one

who are more clean, morally and ethically as the society says or address. Here we can conclude

that in the higher class society tends to be more ethically than the lather one, and that’s is

because they are thought to be like that.

That the society or the people who are making them like that. That

they were entitle because they have money, position or what’s so ever that need to be act

accordingly right. As well to the public people, they’re life is an open book so people are likely

to see what’s they been up to, and that you can see that you have to act accordingly and ethically

or people or netizens will come back to you and judge you according to your actions
 As well to the middle class one, there are o0n the middle bracket

that in their thinking or in our way of thinking we are include to do accordingly or do opposite

one. Because were in the middle, just like we can be bad and good in the same time or vise versa.

But in so many ways this is not right, and we all knew that because

you can’t reason out your status in life to not act ethically and morally.

So in your own opinion and reasoning, do think this three age,

gender, and life status is a base to act ethically?
