1. PRESENT/DISCUSS PROJECT IN CLASS (10/20 points):
At the end of the semester, students are asked to give a 5-7 minute presentation of their projects. This will be an opportunity for the entire class to reflect on different topics and engage in meaningful discussion on their moral and ethical implications. Note: The budget for your final project should be NO MORE THAN JD 10. Using this shared Google document, sign-up for a time to present your final project to the class: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VyFz0prPJ4IjhyyRwTzjvhP8cDmTV0IoNkBucNN 7rD4/edit EXTRA TIME SIGN UP SHEET: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11Ran9v55Y1viq5m- jhXK4t8AgahDl_Ba9RJEZusWRIE/edit
2. SUBMIT FINAL PROJECT (10/20 points):
The final project is an opportunity to apply what you have learned throughout this course to a specific topic and share it with a wider audience. Through the project you are expected to explore at least one social issue/problem, theory, theorist or fictional work (books and films) that tackles moral and ethical questions. Your project can be based on secondary and/or primary sources, which need to be referenced according to MLA standards. The final project is expected to be creative, one that brings awareness to the moral and ethical importance of the subject and how it impacts our daily lives. (Please note that projects in the form of Power-Point Presentations, posters or reports will be accepted, but will not be eligible to receive more than half of the possible marks 5.0/10.) The project can be individual, pair or group work, but each student needs to contribute a unique part of the project that can be evaluated independently of the group. In other words, it is alright to work together on a topic, but each member of a group has to submit and present their own unique part of the project based on their own research. AFTER YOU HAVE PRESENTED/DISCUSSED YOUR CREATIVE FINAL PROJECT IN CLASS, PLEASE UPLOAD IT AS AN ASSIGNMENT. Depending on the format of your creative project, you can submit it as an image, link or document. Since there is a capacity limit to our course moodle, try to keep the file size as small as possible.
