Reflection

As our professor told us to conduct audit on a Cooperatives here in Davao City excites me and
my groupmates because we will have a glimpse on how audit works in the field. We will practice
our learnings inside the classroom and able to apply those in field.

Looking a cooperative that will “payag” us to audit their company is hard. We experience
rejections because of confidentiality of their data. They cannot easily give us access even if we
are given authorization by our instructor. Finally, a cooperative here in Davao City welcome us.
They accepted our engagement letter and we may now begin our audit. With the help also of
CDA, they provide us data that are needed in our audit. Employees there are very approachable,
they cater us even if they are busy that time. We had a hard time in finishing our output, but with
teamwork and application of our learnings we are able to finish it. To be honest, it’s quiet hard in
conducting audit since it’s our first time. I know that in the future we can use our experience, we
are not that ignorant because in our undergrad, our college give us this kind of requirement that
is very relevant experience that we can use in the near future. And to our professor who shared to
us lots of learnings and his own experience. We are sincerely thankful to that.
