1.     What is the difference between Alibata and Baybayin? It is right to

say that they are the same? Is Alibata the original form of Filipino
writing?

 Alibata is what we have thought is the original writing system of the

native Filipinos. Alibata is just a theory that our writing originated
from arabic. Baybayin is what our natives named their original form
of writing. Clearly, Alibata is not the original form of writing of
Filipinos, but Baybayin. 

2.     What is the reason why the usage of Baybayin is no longer

present in contemporary times?

 According to my research, the cause of the demise of Baybayin is

because of the confusion of the usage of the marks.

3.     What do you think is the significance of knowing the Baybayin in

the present times?

It is really important to know Baybayin especially in the present times

because nowadays we tend to copy almost everything from other nations.
Knowing Baybayin, for me, gives me the identity of being a Filipino, and
we should be proud of it. Knowing Baybayin is also knowing our History,
our identity as a Filipino, and that is its importance.
