Albert Einstein was born in Germany in 1879 and showed early signs of being a slow learner, but found inspiration from books introduced to him by a medical student. He went on to study physics and mathematics and in 1905 developed his theory of relativity while still in his twenties. Later in life, Einstein had to flee Nazi Germany and emigrated to the United States, where he worked at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton until his death in 1955.

Albert Einstein was born in Germany in 1879. He learned
slowly, and he didn't start to talk until he was three years old. When other children played, he sat by himself. His parents thought he was retarded. In school, he was quiet. When his teachers called on him, he remained silent. His teachers thought he was a slow learner. When Einstein was eleven, a young medical student came to eat at his home twice a week. He brought young Albert books and they studied together. One book, Force and Matter, introduced him to the basic forces of the universe. After he finished high school, Einstein studied mathematics and physics at the Swiss Polytechnic Institute. In 1905, when he was only twenty-six years old, he developed his theory of relativity. In 1933, while Einstein was visiting the United States and England, the Nazis took his property, removed him from his job as professor, and took away his citizenship. He came to live in the United States and to work at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. He lived and worked there until his death in 1955.
