Advanced GET is analysis software for financial markets.

Whatever market or
timeframe you trade, Advanced GET is used for analysis and trading decisions.
The software teaches a four step process for trading and three basic trading models.

The 4 step process is as follows:

1) Find a market to trade.

2) Analyze that market to see which model applies.
3) Buy OR sell the market (known as triggering in).
4) Manage the trade.

This process applies to all three of the trading models.

Each of the three trading models model has a different level of consistency. Here are
the models in order of their consistency:

1) Trend continuation model. This is buying a pullback within an existing trend.

2) Breakout model (XTL Breakout / Breakdown). This trade is to get long or short
early in what may be a significant trend.
3) Counter-trend trades (Elliot Type II trades). This trade is based on the trend
terminating and changing directions.

From the picture above, you can see that the trading models all come at different
points during a trend. However, they have one thing in common. The risk is always
small RELATIVE to the potential gain. That’s right, I said POTENTIAL gain. We trade
in 'the white space'. We don't know what will happen. The market can and will do
whatever it wants whenever it wants. Once we have entered a trade, the only thing
that we can control is our risk and how we manage it.

This same pattern plays out in a downtrend.

Next, I will explain each model in detail. In the final post, I will summarize the
process and the trading models.
