    RE: Intent to Transfer of Workplace Assignment

    Maam:

    My warmest felicitation!

    Life entails changes, among which, is entering into marriage for purposes of establishing conjugal
    relations and family life. Married life carries with it certain obligations and responsibilities which will
    attach from the moment of its celebration, encompassing the expectation of becoming parents which
    will demand time, proximity, mutual aid, and support to the spouse and offspring. Unfortunately, not all
    married couples are given the luxury of time and space to cohabit with each other to exercise the twin
    obligation of marriage (SPOUSAL and PARENTAL OBLIGATIONS) due to several factors such as Place of
    Work Assignment.
    Last year, I have had contracted marriage with my longtime partner and now we have a child. However,
    as much as I would want to fulfill my spousal and parental obligations, my wife and I were left with no
    other option but to live separately for reasons attributable to our distance as demanded by my work
    assignment in Armenia, Uson, Masbate as Senior High School Teacher. Although I can provide financially
    for sustenance, being away creates an emotional gap as it predisposes my child to behave indifferently
    towards me. I wish to develop attachment and bond with my family as I fear the ramifications that may
    come by being physically absent.

    Hoping that I have gained your utmost understanding, I am appealing for a possible transfer of
    workplace assignment within Sorsogon Province, it being beneficial for my family in terms of meeting
    immediate needs and assistance. I have always been committed to my profession as a father to my
    students and this commitment has to be showed as well as I assumed responsibilities as a spouse and
    father to my growing family.

    I am looking forward to your favorable response on this matter. Thank you and Godspeed.
