With this Release Facts, we are announcing the release of the Desigo CC V2.1 SR4 as well as several
extension modules.

Please find hereunder the content of this release:

The Desigo CC V2.1 SR4 will be available in all languages. The extension modules are available in
English and German.

Price Information The Extension Modules are delivered as part of Desigo CC and are not
licensed in themselves.

Target Markets
The market introduction of Desigo CC Version 2.1 SR4 as well as the new extension modules is a global
introduction.
The delivery is available for both SSP and the solution partner channel.

2 New functionality in Desigo CC V2.1 SR4

Desigo CC V2.1 SR4 is service release that contains bug fixes.

Additionally to the bug fixing, the following functionality has been also delivered:

RENO Enhancements

Characteristics Remote Notification (RENO) messages can be sent not only when a new
event comes but also when the status of the event or the status of event
source changes.

Possible selections are:

 new event comes
 event source back to Normal

Additional selections will be provided with V3.0.

Benefits Inform recipients remotely when the alarm conditions are back to normal.
Improved monitoring capability of the system by operators not in front of
the monitor.
Examples Send SMS and email messages to technicians when HW equipment is not
working as expected and when the issue has been fixed.

Characteristics With this Extension Module the support of the following features and
newly supported subsystems will be added in addition to the already
existing functionality:

New features in Video Extension module:

 Video now supports clip export and start of recording from OSD and
commanding. Video clips are on demand exported to and stored on
the management server in .mkv file format.
 When the bookmarks in the VMS are configured for recording,
tagging in OSD starts recording of the current video stream.
 Refinements on restart allow an automatic reconnect of the VMS to
the management system.

subsystem versions. With the current Extension Module the support of the

4 Rollout information

Distribution The new Extension Modules are available for all channels, subject to regional approval.
The Extension Modules will be added to the Desigo CC Extension Module master
distribution location.
Regional and local master library managers should take care of localization; ensure
their distributions are updated and that all dependent Extension Modules are included.
The Extension Modules are available in both English and German. Note that the
German language texts are not included within these released Extension Modules, but
rather are with the German language pack of Desigo CC.

Documenta Descriptions of workflows for the Extension Modules are included in standard Desigo
tion CC documents if not otherwise specified in this document

The use of the Extension Modules relies on skills transferred in the Desigo CC V2.1
Training Advanced Engineering module (DC2_EN) in Vienna..
