Dear Diary

Today was happiest day of my life. My teacher told

me that I have been selected as the best
sportsman of the year. I am happy that all the hard
work I had done, paid back today. I can never
forget how much I had toiled in the field, during the
summer camp to get into the school football team.
My coach appreciated my efforts. My parents will
be so proud of me when I'll receive the trophy from
the Chief Guest. All the parents and teachers will
clap for me. I will be a hero at that moment.

I have also been selected to represent the team for

the School Nationals to be held next month.

God, please give me strength and endurance to live

up to the expectations of my coach and my
parents.

Subject : Problems created by stray animals

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper,

I would like to highlight the problems created by
stray animals in our area. Stray dogs bite people
and spread dirt all around. There is a constant
threat of rabies hanging over the people.

Stray cows block traffic and create a nuisance.

There are several accidents everyday and
sometimes they also attack people carrying
grocery, vegetables etc. Stray monkeys trouble
people by getting into their homes. They throw
everything and sometimes even open the
refrigerators and take away fruits and vegetables
kept in them. MCD needs to implement preventive
measures for these . Shelters should be built for
these animals. There should be a special squad. It
should have fixed responsibilities of clearing away
the roads from them.
