Name of city or place: Caño Cristales
Where is located?

Caño Cristales is located in Colombia, just north of the municipality of La Macarena, in

the department of Meta. In this region where three important ecosystems converge: the
Amazon, the Andes and the Orinoco.

 
How is the weather like in that place? Caño Cristales has a warm climate with an
average temperature of 30ºC and a high level of humidity. The hottest time of year is from
December to March. In the months of April, May and June, there is a lot of rain, due to the
winter.
What activities can you do there? the activities that can be done in Caño Cristales are
mostly ecological, such as a walk, contemplate the stream of angosturas and its
pictograms, overfly it, enjoy the waterfalls and pocetas, dance joropo and eat llanera meat

Short story.

Dear friend

Last year in August for my wife's birthday I decided that to celebrate we would go to Caño
Cristales.

We arrived on august 16 at night it was a long trip. Immediately we went to stay we were
so tired that we forgot our bags at the reception it was very funny because we thought we
had been robbed while we were sleeping, thank god it wasn't like that. After that incident i
went with my wife to do the walk by the river and in the afternoon we flew over the place
it was great. we lasted three days enjoying this place
