First and foremost, we bow our head to the Almighty for being our light and his
gracious showers of blessing throughout the course of this project.
We are deeply indebted and extremely grateful to our Head of the Department
Mr.BOOBALAN.,M.E.,(Ph.D.), who permitted us to work on this valuable project and
his invaluable assistance in the course of our graduation amid his hustle.
We would like to express our sincere honour and thanks to our Project Supervisor
Mr.V.PRABHU.,M.E. for his constant technical support and stupendous encouragement,
which enabled us to complete our project successfully.

ABSTRACT
the machine has the capability to think like a human. In automotive industry, AI plays an
important role in developing vehicle technology. Vehicular automation involves the use of
mechatronics and in particular, AI to assist in the control of the vehicle, thereby relieving
vehicles sense the world with such techniques as laser, radar, lidar, Global Positioning System
(GPS) and computer vision. In this, there are several methodologies of AI techniques such as:
fuzzy logic, neural network and swam intelligence which often used by autonomous car. On the
other hand, self driving cars are not in widespread use, but their introduction could produce
several direct advantages: fewer crashes, reduced oil consumption and air pollution, elimination
of redundand passengers, etc. So that, in future where everyone can use a car and change the way
we use our highways. AI based car will cause a huge change in people’s life, we have research
and analyse the various impacts on society, legal and ethical challenges, and importantly
environmental constraints.
