Turn on the projector after replacing the lamp. Lamps need replacement every 2000 hours.

Hold down the "Exit" button for approximately three seconds until the lamp hours appear on the
screen.

Press the "Menu" button to access the reset option. If you do not want to reset the lamp hours,
press the "Exit" button.

o 4
Reset the lamp hours count to "00:00" by pressing the right or left arrow buttons.

o 5
Exit the lamp hours display by pressing the "Exit" button.

Manual Reset
Step 1
Turn on the projector after securing the lamp cover. Press the "Exit" button on the projector's control
panel and hold it for three seconds. Release the button when "Lamp Hours" appears on the screen.

Step 2
Press "Menu," then press the arrow navigation buttons to adjust the lamp hours on the display.
Reset the lamp hours to "00:00".

Step 3
Press "Exit" to save the new lamp hour setting and start the timer over for the new bulb.

Automated Reset
Step 1
Turn on the projector after replacing the bulb. Watch for the startup image to appear on the display,
then press "Menu" on the control panel or "Menu/Exit" on the remote.

Step 2
Use the directional arrows to highlight the "Advanced Setup" menu. Press the down arrow to highlight
"Lamp Settings," then press "Enter."

Step 3
Use the navigational arrows to highlight "Reset Lamp Timer," then press "Enter."

Step 4
Highlight "Reset," then press "Enter" on the confirmation screen.

How to Reset a BenQ Projector Lamp Timer

1. Turn on the projector
2. While the projector running, press the Menu button to open the menu
3. Choose Option on the menu using the 5/6 button, then press the button or Enter
button
4. Choose Lamp Time using the 5/6 button, then press and hold the Reset button
for 3 seconds
5. Choose Reset using the 5 button
