Abstract

Womens safety is a very important issue due to rising crimes against women
these days. To help resolve this issue we propose a gps based womens safety
device. It is basic and simple to utilize and convey with various functionalities. This
device is a security system, specially designed for women. We use radio frequency
signal detector to detect hidden cameras. We use GSM modules to send
messages and calls, and using GPS which track our current location. We can
record audio for further investigation.

1. Introduction

Introduction of our security device, specially designed for women in emergency

and in distress. It is an individual safety product designed to protect womens safe
24/7. It is pressed with highlights for both regular security and genuine crises,
making it an extreme instrument for all. Our intention is to provide you with fastest
and simplest way to contact your nearest help. This gadget can likewise be scaled
down in future and can be implanted in jewelleries, cell phones etc. This device is a
guide, which helps individuals to accept preventive measures as quickly as time
permits during - Being stalked while walking, Attempted physical or sexual
assault, Unsafe neighbours, Domestic violence, Hidden camera detector.
2. Methodology

Now represents the methodology used in our paper. The device can be active when
we press the emergency button. This device sends instant location and message to
the police preset numbers through a GSM module. When we double click the
emergency button, the device sends both the distress message with instant location.
When the same button is long pressed it activated call to the police and sends
message to the police instant location. The location is located using GPS.

The audio is recorded using audio recorder and call is made from GSM modem
respectively. This GSM Modem can accept any GSM network operator SIM card
and act just like a mobile phone with its own unique phone number. The hidden
camera detector can be used anytime to find whether there is any hidden camera in
the surrounding to help our privacy. The hidden camera detector works with the
help of Radio frequency signal interface. When the Radio frequency signal is
interrupted, camera can be detected.
