How to Determine Your Spares

To prevent unnecessary downtime, it is good practice to keep onhand spares of the
most wearable or fragile machine parts.
The following list is a recommendation of parts that you (the customer) may want
to keep as spares for your balancing system. Using this list, you should decide which
extra parts you might need onhand and the quantity of each, based on the following:
 Number of hours the machine runs
 Operating environment
 Amount of time you can wait for an ordered part to arrive (while your machine is
not operating)
The spare parts list identifies each recommended spare as one of two types:
 Wear (W) if it touches the customer’s part, or if it is designed to wear during
usage (for example, cutters, felt wipers, belts)
 Spare (S) if the part may need replacement over time (for example, fuses,
photocells, bearings)

When ordering spare or replacement parts, please provide the following information:
 Machine serial number, obtained from the nameplate located on the machine or
from the spare parts list
 Part (Item) number of each part being ordered, obtained from the spare parts list
 Contact information (your company name, address, and telephone number or
email address)
This information helps ensure that you get the exact parts you need and that we can
process the order quickly.

If You Need to Return Parts

If you need to return parts or materials to us, it is important that you first obtain a
Return Material Authorization (RMA) number from our Parts Department. This
number helps us correctly credit the shipment to you.
