About DKT Myanmar: DKT International is a leader in making modern contraceptives more available,
accessible and affordable to people in 24 developing countries worldwide. A social-marketing
organisation, it promotes its brands competitively in Myanmar as part of a proven sustainability model.
However, it also runs donor-funded projects to raise the public’s education level on sexual and
reproductive health. Established in 2014, the Myanmar organisation is growing and will surpass 60
staff in this year, in two regional offices.

DKT International invites applications for the following position in Yangon, Myanmar.

Position: Medical Trainer

Report to: Head of Program and Clinical Services
Contract: One year (extendable)
Duty Station: Yangon
Closing Date: until qualified candidate is identified

About the Job: The Medical Trainer will report to the Head of Program and Clinical Services and be
responsible for conducting training programs and coordination with Ministries and partner
organisations and associations in support of the project implementation plan and objectives.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

§ Coordinating with Ministry of Health and Sports, other stakeholders, including GP clinics and
pharmacies in order to organize and implement the training programs like IUD and implant
trainings
§ Ensuring that the training programs are conducting in accordance with the Quality Assurance
guidelines
§ Evaluating the effectiveness of the trainings and providing necessary technical supports to
stakeholders
§ Conducting on-the-job trainings and refresher training sessions for GPs, as needed
§ Preparing training reports and ensuring all the training related documents are kept in
systematic order
§ Dealing with financial expenses in accordance with the guideline set by the Finance
Department
§ Giving logistics supports for the training programs
§ Performing other related duties as required

Qualifications/Requirements:
§ University Degree in Medicine (Medical License is a must.)
§ Minimum 2 years of related training experience (preferable with SRH or contraceptive related
training experience)
§ Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment

§ Good communication and coordination skill

§ Willingness to learn and be flexible
§ Good command of written and spoken English and Myanmar languages
§ Ability to use standard application software (e.g. Microsoft Office) and internet applications
§ Ability to travel and work independently
