Patient: excuse me, I need attention, I broke my arm

Doctor: let me see. it's an internal injury, you are not bleeding. I need a tomography in
order to see what is going on with you arm. you may need surgery. tell mee, what happened
Patient: nothing, I just was walking to my room an then, my arm broke by itself.
Doctor: I see, that's not normal, how old are you?
Patient: I'm 69 years old.
Doctor: rigth. maybe you have osteoporosis, an illness that atffects your bones. making
them weak, and no enough nutrients to regenerate.
Patient: Doctor, but... what I should do? I live alone...(snift)
Doctor: Firts, lets fix your broken arm. then we'll talk about it.
AFTER EXAMS AND THE SURJERY
Doctor: ok. you must not move your arm for a month.
Patient: ok. and what about the illness that you mentioned before.
Doctor: I'm on the way, so. after the Bone mineral density (BMD) exam, osteoporosis was
confirmed.
Patient: so?...
Doctor: treatment includes medications, a healthy diet and exercising with weight to
prevent bone loss or strengthen weak bones. we can talk about it in the next appointment
