Dear Mr. And Mrs. Miller:

I am a Wayne State University Honors student looking to join your team at Estate Sale
Experts. I am no stranger to second hand selling. I have accompanied my father and
older sibling to many garage sales and thrift stores over the years to scour for people's
old toys. These items may not be antiques though some were of value to certain
people. Reselling those items was both a side-job and a hobby for my family that I
inevitably picked up an interest in and I then decided to assist them in.

Seeing as how your business has its roots in the personal activities of you both I
believe we share a similar view as to the worth of these activities. I believe a place
founded on such beliefs would do me well in developing my own expertise.

I don’t plan on abandoning this skill I have developed after becoming an Electrical
Engineer. That would be eliminating opportunities that I already had a foothold in. So, I
want to sharpen this skill instead and I hope you will give me the opportunity to do so.

OBJECTIVE
An Electrical Engineering student who has assisted two family members
with finding and evaluating merchandise for their e-Bay accounts and
recently started my own. Would enjoy continuing this project in the future
even after finishing my education because I find joy in it, so I look to
broaden my expertise in the area through this work.
