1.Writing a research paper will help you develop or improve your reading skills.

It helps you in
developing reading for critical evaluation not just for the purpose of knowledge. It helps you develop
reasoning skills as you read any article or book to collect sources for your research paper. It helps you
think differently and think out of the box when you read something. You develop the skill of making
conclusion from what you read and ask question from yourself whether you agree with it or not.

2.Research is important to our mankind. When we come across a difficut problem that we couldn't
solve, first ,we will research the cause of the problem ,and then research a solution to solve the
problem ,at last ,we solve the problem. So research plays an important role in the development of the
mankind.

3.The two main types of research are qualitative research and quantitative research. Qualitative
research is descriptive in nature, because it generally deals with non-numerical and unquantifiable
things. A biologist studying symbiotic relationships in nature, for example, would use qualitative
research, because the scientist would more often than not be describing behaviors of animals. There
might some numerical data in that the researcher would document the number of observations;
however, the observations themselves would be descriptive of what the animals do.

Quantitative research is much more numbers-driven. The emphasis is on the collection of numerical
data. The conclusion then makes inferences based on that data. A biologist studying population
numbers would use quantitative research.

4.The pursuit of knowledge and discovery has always been an intrinsic human characteristic, but when
new knowledge is curated and put in the right hands it has the power to bring about high value change
to society.

Research is an invaluable tool for building on crucial knowledge, it’s also the most reliable way we can
begin to understand the complexities of various issues; to maintain our integrity as we disprove lies and
uphold important truths; to serve as the seed for analysing convoluted sets of data; as well as to serve
as ‘nourishment’, or exercise for the mind.

For example, data collection method, sample size, data analysis can be changed to tackle the same
problem in-order to bring out a unique study. ... Different Inferential statistics or data analysis methods
can also be adopted here to bring a difference and hence add to the body of knowledge.
