A. INTRODUCTION

Community is a group of people who shares a mutual characteristics and

interests. It consists of family which is made of father, mother and the children,

depending on the structure of the family. As a community, it is necessary to engage

in different activities, need a medical care, and should have a safe and clean

environment. This project that studies a community gives an idea that helps

improve its different needs with the people who lives that serves as the medium. As

population arises, different needs developed that should be done with an action.

Capitol University, under the National Service Training Program, students

conducted this project to be able to help through educating and serving the people

by sharing scientifically based knowledge and strength. We are certain that this

project could help them aware of what are the needs and demands of the group.

We used different methods to gather and interpret the data that gives us a

solution to be implemented. With these methods we are able to pursue the process

and came up with many interpretations. We conducted a survey by interviewing

different civilians living that barangay, permitted by the barangay chairman. We

tallied the data and identify which are the most concerns that should be prioritized.

This project leads us to become an agent in improvising the community as

well as their livelihood. We are expecting that the solutions we made could really

help the people and their community. We expect any changes when it comes to

their lifestyle by absorbing the teachings that we have taught them to do. The

programs will be enhanced and become prioritize by the barangay. It also allows

the barangay to know the actions and regulations to maintain these solutions that

this project provided. This project can be a useful learning guide in the education

as this can used by the students as a reference for future studies regarding with its

community. This study will enable the students to learn how to assess a community

and be able to provide appropriate action and management. This would also help

in identifying the primary needs of the community.
