Instructions: You will be working on your PPD in this document. You can visit my site for
guidance on selecting a topic. I have created this copy for you so I can provide you with
feedback and keep track. Once we are done with the presentations these must be placed on
ManageBac. I usually do that.

Remember the total word count cannot exceed 500 words. The title does not count. Add up the
words in each section.

You should aim to:

● Describe one real life situation


● Formulate a clear knowledge question
● Identify & explore perspectives in relation to the knowledge question
● Relate the findings back to the knowledge questions
● Demonstrate that the analysis is relevant to other real life situations

Title:

Describe your real life situation (INSERT WORD COUNT HERE)


● Short
● Avoid lengthy technical
● Describe relevant aspects
● State where you found the real life situation

State your Central Knowledge Question (INSERT WORD COUNT HERE)

● About knowledge (you should be able to recast the question with the world knowledge)
● Second Order Question
● A single question but you can use subsidiary knowledge questions to address it (these can
be made explicit in the outline)
● Narrow question

Explain the connection (INSERT WORD COUNT HERE)

● Bridge between the rls (first order) and the KQ (Second Order)
● Short
● List explicit connections between the real life situation and the suggested ToK analysis
