2 Motor Bearings Up to 80°c 80°c‐100°c More than 100°c

3 Engine Cylinders/Block Up to 105°c 105°c‐115°c More than 115°c

4 Generators(Windings) Up to 150°c 150°c‐160°c More than 160°c

5 Generator(Bearing) Up to 80°c 80°c‐100°c More than100°c

6 Gear Box Up to 60°c 60°c‐80°c More than 80°c

Electrical connections(Phase to
7 Up to 5 °c 5°c‐15°c More than15°c
Phase)

8 Circuit Breaker Up to 65°c‐ 65°c‐90°c More than 90°c

9 Transformer(Dry Type) Up to 115°c 115°c‐125°c More than125°c

Note : There is not any ISO Set Standards Analysis Criteria exist for the thermal analysis , please consider
this as a general reference which may deviate in the analysis based on Analyst approach , Atmospheric
conditions &the company standards operating procedures (If provided ) . The criticality of Motor
&Generator Winding Temperature is totally based on the insulation class of the motor‐Generators. That
needs to be provided by the client to be more specific in the IR Thermography.
