1. Assuming that you are the group leader and you are required to review the said report before
submission. You routinely google your members’ contribution and discover that large parts have
been lifted, verbatim, from the web with no quotation marks or proper citations.

Answer:

In this scenario, “Plagiarism” is the identified research ethical issue. It was clearly stated
in the given case that large parts of my members’ contribution have been lifted, verbatim, from
the web with no quotation marks or proper citations. In my opinion, being the leader of a group
really takes a lot of skills just as having a comprehension on the needs of the group. As I
addressed this issue, I will be decisive and in control as I am their leader and at some point, (may
pagkukulang din ako kaya nila nagawa ýon). I will ask their reasons why they did that and if it is
intentionally or not. As I finished having a talk with them, I will exhibit good judgement and will
immediately revise the report as a group.
