Anime

Anime is a very big industry in them. For Japanese people, anime is not just anime but rather, a
part of their culture. And over the years, this anime culture had extended it's grasp all over the
world. Many of the 90's and early 2000 kids of the country might not even realize that they
have grown watching anime's like Dragon Ball, Naruto, Ghost Fighter and many more until their
later years.

But have you been wondering as to why anime is really popular? According yo Takamasa
Sakura, a famous anime expert. The genre had been widely accepted due to its unconventional
nature. "Japanes anime broke the convention that anime is something that kids watch." What
makes anime well love by its fans especially those from across the sea are entensity and
complexity of its storyline, it's unpredictable endings and the deep learnings you can take from
it. This is of no wonder since anime's target audience are adults. In addition Anime also has a
variety of genres to suite audience preference.

Now, interested in watching anime but don't what to watch? Here are a few tearjerker anime
movies and short series to get you started.

 Grave of the Firefly Lights

A devastating meditation on the human cost of war, this animated tale follows Seita (Tsutomu
Tatsumi), a teenager charged with the care of his younger sister, Setsuko (Ayano Shiraishi),
after an American firebombing during World War II separates the two children from their
parents. Their tale of survival is as heartbreaking as it is true to life. The siblings rely completely
on each other and struggle against all odds to stay together and stay alive.

Five childhood friends grow apart after the death of Meiko Honma, close playmate of them all.
Jinta Yadomi, leader of the group when they were kids, neglects high school and lives as a shut-
in when he unexpectedly starts seeing the ghost of Meiko, who can only interact with him and
no one else. She has returned to ask Jinta to fulfill the forgotten wish she made as a kid.
