1. Activity 1:
 Mix up and hand out question and answer strips to pupils, one each. Ask pupils to mingle to
find a partner to match the question + answer.
 Write the questions on the board. Ask questions to help pupils see the relationship between the
form of the questions and the answers.
 Carefully explain the contraction form of would to ensure pupils understand how I’d is
constructed.

 Model the worksheet activity on the board using an example. Explain the example.

 Ask pupils to work individually on the worksheet before checking their answers with a
partner.

 Organise pupils into groups of 4. Distribute survey table to pupils.
 In turns, pupils ask What’s your favourite food? and write the name of each pupil in the group
over his/her favourite food. Encourage them to give reasons.
 Once all of the groups are done, have a pupil in each group report the results of the survey e.g.
Alex’s favourite food is pizza, Lucy, Tom and Tony like pasta.
1. Ask pupils to think about what they have learned in Unit 6 and how well they feel they know the
language now and complete the How did I do in Unit 6? self-assessment.
