Modular Unit
This project was my first group project of architecture school.
As construction leader, I took a major leadership role in design
and production. The goal of this assingment was to create a
modular unit that would be used to make a wall or sculpture of
some form. We chose to use wood and fabric to create
interesting light effects throughout our sculpture.
Armature
The goal of this project was to produce an armerature for a
plaster cube that had already been designed and casted earlier
in the semester.
The relationship I chose to represent with my armerature was
one in which the armerature was a parasite, strangling the
plaster cube.
Five Spaces
The objective of this project was to create a space with
multiple different uses such as study, overlook, outlook,
alcove, and gathering. For my project, I focused on the
privacy and lighting of these spaces.
Villa Savoye Diagramming
This project was an introduction to both computer
modeling and linework, as well as basic diagramming.
In these models, we studied building characteristics
such as regulating lines, spacial sequences, and
circulation paths.

Regulating Lines Spacial Sequence Circulation

Chateau la Coste Art Museum Diagramming
This project was a diagramming project in which we could
diagram any of the buildings characteristics. I chose to
diagram circulation path, repitition, thresholds, materiality,
and to study the site, consider how far away the building is
from the rest of the structures.

Ice Pavillion
The Ice Pavillion was our first full building project in which
we were given a list of constraints and asked to create a
pavillion in which ice sculptures would be displayed. This
was a four week project, including a precident study. My
ice pavillion is a spiral shape with a ramp leading down to
the sculpture, then back up to the park. These paths are
separated by a drainage system for the ice.
