Notes from listening:

Patrick is showing four options to resolve the problem that is going on in the Company to Veronica
and to see what is the best option for the company:

 One of them is banned “special relationships” at work, he thinks some companies have
that policy and it could work for them.
 The second option is asked the people who have “special relations” to sign a love contract,
which is a document that the staff signs and they declare to have a special relationship and
this specifies what behavior is acceptable and what action the company may take if they
something that is not in the contract.
 The third one is that the staff must informed the team leader if they have a special
relationship and they must agree to behave according at work.
 The fourth option is to do nothing, just accept human nature and that the company can´t
do nothing about it.

Guidelines in the company

The company offers you these guidelines to help you answer all the question you may have, to
help you with the doubts you have here some answers that may help you.

 Be inclusive with new staff no matter their background, sexual orientation, religion,
ethnicity, color, race, age, sex, etc. and support them when they don´t know how to do
something.
 Be respectful it´s okay if you don´t agree all the time, but respect what others think. We
cannot let people feel uncomfortable because is not a productive or creative environment.
 We believe that every person has a way of working, it´s your responsibility to talk to your
team leader to stablished a routine that works for you and that doesn´t affect your team
and their productivity.
 The company believes that team work brings more productivity and loyalty between the
team, if something is damaging that relationship between teammates we have to address
it fast so that the team doesn´t feel uncomfortable.
 We believe that the customer feels more secure if they know a brand representative is
talking about the product or service, so we think that when you are going to talk to
customers you should have a uniform and that shows respect to them and the brand.
