 PROJECT SYNOPSIS

 TITLE OF THE PROJECT:

UTENSIL MANAGEMENT

 ABSTRACT OF THE PROJECT:

Our project is based on a utensil management system which is made in keeping

the naïve end user as well as the experienced administrator. The system provides all the

basis necessities required to keep tab on day to day proceeding as well as calculate the

raw material purchased and final product produced for the day.

 SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR:
The head of AHSAN METAL INDUSTRY which is a manufacturer of aluminum

Cooking utensils, Mr. ISLAM RAEEN has specifically requested us to provide a

Proper monitoring system hence special case has been taken to provide him with a

system which enables him to keep a tab on all his employees at any given time.

 SEARCH FUNCTION:
A Search Function is a vital component of any Stock Exchange program which enables

the user to keep a constant check on trades and current positioning of all his clients.

Our main aim is to provide a user friendly yet a very basic system.The following are the

 USER OF THE SYSTEM:

Our System is based on simple analogy which will allow administration Login and User

Login.

 MODULE IN:

 Login Module:
Provides admin login as well as normal login to the users.

 Administration Login:

The Head of AHSAN METAL INDUSTRY has requested a special

administration login to enable him access to all his employees

 User Login:

This is the normal login for all the employees and allow all the

operation for the days.

  Input Module:

Here all the data of all the raw materials purchased are imported in the

system.The storage of raw materials for the day are to be processed on the

basis of these files.

 Production Module:

All the days manufacturing of utensils are carried out here in this module.

All the end to end transactions are done as for the request of the customer

and his needs.

 Report Module:

 The employee will report all his transaction to the admin.

 The admin will then calculate his profit or loss for the day by
calculating the production of utensils and employee wages for the day.
 At the end of a day the admin will create a report for the day.

 OBJECTIVE & SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

 Scope:
The scope of our software was to build a system with maximum coverage of

information. The more the information, the more satisfied the employee is.The

system is time saving, providing fast access to the system .The

maintenance of record is easier since paper work is reduced. Also some efforts

were given to make the application look attractive using some design tool

 METHODOLOGY

 For the utensils management software we are preferring a RAD Model which

is a incremental software process model that emphasizes a short development

cycle.

 It is a “high-speed” adaptation of the waterfall model ,in which

rapid development is achieved by using a component based

construction approach.

 If requirements are well understood and project scope is

constrained, the RAD process enables a development team to

create a “fully functional system” with in a very short time period.
