1. What is DLP or Pre-5 maintenance?

It stands for Defect Liability Period. It is 5 years maintenance of the road to be carried by the contractor who had
constructed it. It is also termed as Pre-5 maintenance period.

2. What is CA/NIT?

It is the document in which maintenance rates for DLP are defined.

3. What is freezing/unfreezing of a package ?

Rights of freezing and unfreezing of package has been given to PIU Incharge. When a package is freezed, no further
changes can be done. To enable the changes package need to be unfreezed. After unfreezing package become
available at AE/AM/JE/Sub. Engg. level for updation.

4. When a CA/NIT become available for mapping with package?

After freezing of CA/NIT by the state coordinator, it becomes available for mapping with package.

5. What is the meaning of Routine Maintenance Bill?

Routine Maintenance Bill means PART-II bill (submitted by contractor).

6. If any user lost/forgot their password what should they do?

User need to contact State admin/ITNO to reset password.

In case State admin/ITNO lost their password then they have to contact NIC.

7. How to update State admin/ITNO Roles and Service Permission?

For this State admin/ITNO has to contact NIC.

8. What to do if CA/NIT no. not found in NIT list at the time of Package and Road Updation?

If CA/NIT no. not found in the list, contact NMO. NMO has to enter and freeze that CA/NIT into eMARG.

9. What is the registration process of any contractor working on multiple departments within a state?

If any contractor is working in multiple Departments within a state then contractor has to register separately for all
the departments, Please refer Help>>Operating Instruction>>Contractor Registration Process.

 10. What do you mean by locking of a Package?

If any Package is locked, if implies that the package as well as its NIT is permanently freezed and will not be
available for unfreezing.

11. Sometimes after successful login, system logs out automatically. Why ?

This problem may be related with your existing service provider for Internet connectivity. Please try with different
service provider.

12. Sometimes “Invalid Form Token” Message, what to do ?

Refresh the browser (press ctrl+F5) and try again.

13. Who is Bank User?

Bank user is the person deputed by the bank. He will be responsible for payment of scrolls uploaded by the
PIU/District.

14. During the registration process of contractor registration pdf is not downloading. Why?

Enable browser setting as follows:-

1. On your computer, open Chrome.

2. At the top right, click More Settings.
3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
4. Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
5. Near the bottom, click PDF documents.
6. Turn off Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome.

15. How to calculate average Performance Evaluation (PE) Marks?

If Road Length = 3.750 km

KM wise total 4 PE (0th km,1st km,2nd km,3rd km) will be performed and rest of the calculation based on PE marks
obtained in that km.
