 System should be isolated and properly drained from process side

 For hot line, wait, till that instrument temperature cool down to room temperature
 if line temp is >50 ^C then use fire suit, face shield, heat proof gloves & safety / long shoes during
dismantling of control valve from the line after isolation & drain
 Close the instrument air isolation valve from air distributor
 Remove the instrument air tube & signal wires, wrap the wires by insulation tape
 Open the bolts / nuts of yoke attached with control valve body
 Lift the actuator assembly with yoke and plug carefully and keep it safely aside
 Dismantle the control valve body from line by removing its flange bolts & check it's gasket
condition also
 Gently clean the control valve seat / body with water and cotton rags for removing sticking material
 After wash, re-install the control valve body again by replacing new gaskets (if old gasket condition
is not satisfactory)
 Put the actuator assembly with yoke and stem carefully, and re-tighten the bolts/ nuts
 Reconnect the signal wires and instrument air connection
 Open the instrument air valve from air distributor
 Ask process personnel to take it on-line and check for any leakage
 If no leakage is found then ask process personnel to verify the function testing of control valve
 After verification, close your work permit from concerned authorized personnel
