I think that he's just saying don't hesitate in life, no matter what it is, be true to

So i think this song is like, really good. i love what it means even though it sounds
really confusing. i think the tongue verse means hes always trying to impress
someone, and he does everything he can. but one time it doesnt work, so he decides
to try something new to cover it up, and he ends up liking it better.
5. What does the first verse mean ?
So in the first verse, Mraz is indeed speaking to how she has impacted his life. Or
more to the point, it reads as if he is saying that due to being smitten by this
individual, he is now ready to wholeheartedly devote himself to her, specifically their
romance.
