INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to this online Computer Systems Servicing NCII. This course is


designed to enhance your knowledge, skills, behavior, and motivations required to
Maintain and Repair Computer Systems and Networks.

OBJECTIVES:

At the end of this module you should be able to:

1. Plans and prepares maintenance and/or diagnosis of faults in line with job


requirements.
2. Obtains and checks Tools, equipment and testing devices needed for the
maintenance for correct operation and safety
3. Obtains Materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with
established procedures and checked against job requirements
4. Follows OHS policies and procedures in line with job requirements.
5. Checks Computer systems and networks for maintenance against job/service
order or instructions and specifications.
6. Used Appropriate personal protective equipment in line with standard
procedures.
7. Checks normal function of computer systems and networks in accordance with
manufacturer's instructions
8. Performs schedule/periodic maintenance in accordance with manufacturer’s
requirements.
9. Used necessary, needed repairs/replacements made in accordance with
established procedures.
10. Performs unplanned events or conditions responded to in accordance with
established procedures
