This document summarizes the evaluation of a "Time Explore" learning activity conducted in a school. It evaluates student learning outcomes, the effectiveness of the activity, and areas for the teacher's own improvement. Most student groups were able to sequence pictures to tell a story, though some needed more structure or inclusion. For future activities, the teacher would let students choose their own groups and provide a better model to clarify the sequencing task. The evaluation also notes the teacher's effective classroom management but areas to improve timing and instruction clarity.

EVALUATION OF THE PLANNED ACTIVITY AND STUDENTS' LEARNING
To what extent did the students achieve the specific learning outcomes? How do I know? What did I observe in students' responses? I observed 4 out of 6 table groups sequencing their pictures. Awel didn’t understand the task but was able to co-operate with her peers. Orion, Armeet, Seb and Ava created a lengthy sequence with humour. Elise, Lucas and Chaise – lead by Elise structured around eating Harry, Awel, Evie, Alexi – narrated by Evie, created a clear sequence of events, very funny. Harry got carried away by the end of the play Jonah, Eden, Damian and Areen – funny were. Jonah had issue about joining his group Eric, Emmet, Laura and Maria – unviewed. Off task but regained. Isabelle, Paige and Daniel – lots of props out, Daniel not included well
What modifications would I make to this activity if I did it again?
(task? teaching strategies? grouping? organisation? resources?) I would let students choose group instead of table groups Ask that it is a short sequence – better structure for presentation -timed Draw a better model on the board – drew 4 pictures. Needed to draw the desk and the 4 works.
EVALUATION AND REFLECTION ON MY OWN TEACHING AND LEARNING
How effective were my teaching and management skills? I was able to gain attention from the students without trouble. Could wrap up group getting out of hand
What goals should I set for improvement in my next planned activity?
Better timing. Try to be clearer about how the sequencing is done
What else did I learn about my teaching?
I have discipline techniques but I could use more consistency in my delivery.
ASPECTS FOR DISCUSSION
What do I want to discuss with my Mentor Teacher or Uni Mentor? Next lesson schedule – follow on with a step back and work on sequencing fewer items, perhaps ‘before and after’
