 ABSTRACT

This article is an effort to examine and quantify the prejudicial the essence and extent of these laws against
women in India Their mismanagement. This seeks to make a good argument for more precise gender-neutral
rules, including victim rights legislation Rather than making them instruments of vengeance. It is important
that we have laws to protect women proactively and at the same time, do not expose the men to harassment.
Drafts & Act implementation is a very serious business with far-reaching consequences. They should focus
on enforcement Rather than merely enacting laws that requires wealthy women to take advantage of the
condition and make little difference on the grass root stage
While women's protection legislation has been justified with respect to women's status In earlier times, but a
s we all know, the world has changed, and so has the conduct of Females. Those women are more used to b
eing household takers now take action First up for guys. In comparison, the rule hasn't changed proportionat
ely. The Society has advanced to the stage where criminality among women has been tackled to an extent co
mparing to earlier times A better status in society and undoubtedly dominant but with respect to the law Is st
ill as it used to be in ancient times.

This research precisely the patriarchal nature of women 's laws and Where they exploit the privilege to gain
benefits and threaten people. Legislation Are overwhelmingly bias against women, from booking availability
to Statutory rules. The research focuses on the problem of Listing of such rules which are misused by
women at a glance The consequence is that a man's profession and livelihood are ruined. Beside these
provisions, Are many more laws that are considered as rape, harassment, fraud, defamation
Male-perpetrated and proof and judicial penalties are not adequate to alter That chance.

The research examines the interpretation of the misuse of legal protection conferred on Females.
It studies the following legislative provisions on women's protection-
Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code , 1860, Protection of Women, Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961
Domestic Violence Act, 2005, Medical Pregnancy Termination Act, 1971, only As for their violence
and resulting effects on people. It also lists the Action to be taken by the judiciary to counter the misuse of
