I have done Master in engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala
majoring in Thermal Sciences. I am personally greatly interested in your area of research.
Specially your papers on xxxxxxxxxx. Theses work reflect the yyyyyyyyyyy. These studies have
developed serious intention to pursue my PhD in your esteemed lab under your guidance.

I have a CGPA of 7.25 and my research experience in the modeling of manufacturing

processes. I have done the numerical simulation of electron beam welding on Ansys APDL by
developing a code to design the moving heat source with a suitable keyhole. I have also
written a paper which is under review in Transaction of Nonferrous Metals Society of China.

I find your research is greatly coincides with my MTech research work and interest, thereby
