Two Services Experience of My Own

Good Experience:

Last year me along with my family thought of travelling to India for exploring Kashmir,

Rajasthan, Delhi & Kolkata. As there were four different cities so it would be tough enough for

us to manage everything. So, we asked a Travel agency named Star Travel to arrange our tour for

five persons within a given budget. They provided plan of 15 days’ tour. As we didn’t have any

idea about travel agency services but the plan was bit expensive so we expected for an average

service, couldn’t expect too high with our little knowledge. But their service was beyond our

expectation. Here I’m mentioning few positive incidents.

After arriving India, we found 4 different drivers in four different cities. They were so co-

operative and intelligent that we didn’t need any tour guide, as tour guide was not included in our

service. Each and every drivers did their duty so devotedly that was truly impressive.

Another positive thing was how they arranged our meal! My father is a diabetic patient so we

were worried about his meal, whether we’ll get any dietary food for him or not! But surprisingly

we found that every time they provided one dietary meal specifically for my father and we didn’t

need to ask for it. We just told them before starting that we want all the traditional food as our

meal and they asked if we’re allergic to any items or anyone has diabetic or not. Moreover, it

was our beyond expectation that they will arrange each and every meal so specifically and

carefully.
Last but not the least satisfying service from them was; when we went to Dal Lake, Kashmir. At

Dal lake we’re supposed to stay two nights in the middle of the lake into a boat house. We were

enjoying the calm environment very much but my mom suddenly had a panic attack she refused

to stay there for a single night. She was feeling so suffocating. So, we called the travel agency

and told them our problem. They happily arranged us a hotel within few minutes and asked us to

shift there. Hotel costs were more expensive than the boat house but they didn’t charge us for

this. This was undoubtedly so satisfying and impressive.

Bad Experience:

Few weeks ago one of my cousins had a bike accident. It was around 11.30pm we rushed to the

spot and saw he was hurt under his right eye. As there was a cut in his face so it’s sensitive, a

spot might remain on his face if it’s not been treated well. That’s why we took him to the United

Hospital, Gulshan. United Hospital is very well known for it’s swift service. As they charged a

lot, our expectation was much more than what we got. After reaching the hospital they kept us

waiting for 30 minutes because there was shortage of emergency doctors. When the doctor came

we found that he was a bit arrogant and he wasn’t handling my cousin carefully as well as he was

doing other activities during the dressing. Again we had to wait for about an hour for another

doctor for stitching process. We noticed that there were a lot of patients but not sufficient

doctors. They’re taking too much charge for their service but not serving up to the mark. If they

took us seriously it would to take only 2 to 3 hours but they did it very slowly that it took

5.30am, almost 6 hours. Whenever we complained they gave us lame excuses and behaved

rudely. From then I decided not to go to this hospital ever again and I forbade my nearest
relatives and friends to go to that hospital for any emergency services. We were charged about 9

thousand only for dressing and 2 stitching where in other hospital we could finish it up within 3

thousand to maximum 4 thousand. So, it was totally waste of money and time.
