 What is your job?

R/ I work as a pharmacist.

 Where do you work? Describe your place of work

R/ I work in fusagasuga in a place where elderly people are cared for. It is a large country
estate, with a swimming pool, comfortable rooms and green areas.

 What responsibilities do you have at work?

R/ My responsibility is everything related to medications, to verify that they comply with all
storage conditions so that they are suitable for administration. I also carry out the acquisition
of the necessary medicines, I process all the formulas with the health promoting entity and I
give educational talks on medications to the elderly and the workers of the center.
 Describe your activities at work.

R/My skills in my work are the experience I have gained in the course of the 20 years I have
been doing this activity, the respect and the assertive communication I use with the elderly
and employees.

Weaknesses in my work is that I have to carry out administrative and caring tasks alone, and
many times I don’t have enough time to carry out all the activities and the contact with the
elderly is sometimes neglected.

 Do you like your job? Yes, no. why?

I like my work because it is a way to help others through my knowledge.

 What was your first day at work like?

My first day was very happy because I had the opportunity to share with another kind of
people who had great experience in life.

I have none.

I study health administration.

R/ I study at the National Open and Distance University (UNAD) in Fusagasuga.
 What is your favorite subject?
R/ I don't have any favorites.
 What are your responsibilities at University?
R/My responsibilities at the university are those of learning and the development of all
the activities proposed in the different guidelines.
 Describe your activities at University. Do you like your career? Yes, No. Why?
R/ My activities at the university are: downloading the guides to know what to do,
reviewing contents, participating in the forums, interacting with my classmates and
solving each of the tasks proposed in each course.
 Do you like your career? Yes, No. Why?
R/I do like it, because it is something that allows me to grow professionally,
intellectually and personally because to be in contact with health entities is to be able to
help people who need relief in their health.
 Describe your skills and weaknesses for this job?
R/ My skills are those of relating my profession with the new knowledge in this
new career, besides being able to put into practice each new knowledge.
My weaknesses are the limited time and feedback from the tutors in order to
develop the activities of each course.
 What was your first day at University like?
R/ My first day was filled with many expectations to acquire new knowledge.
