It is use to determine customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction.

Finance
A comparative study of foreign exchange rates across countries can be done to
determine economic growth and overall performance.
Example: Statistical Discrepancy between Input and Output in Our Economy

Information Technology
A comparative study of the results of an Internet speed test done by the NTC can
prove which of the top telecom providers in the country has the fastest and most reliable
connectivity.
Example: Rate of Satisfaction of SMART and GLOBE to Subscribers

Education
A quantitative study of the students’ academic performance ratings may be a good
indicator as to which of the subjects/courses are most liked or disliked by the students.
Example: Study Rate Satisfaction of Students in their Subjects

Disaster Management
A quantitative survey of disaster hit areas whose people are most at risk and most
vulnerable can provide the concerned government agencies a clearer picture of the extent
of damage/s and the needed funding to be used for rehabilitation and social assistance.
Example: Top 5 Satisfying Actions of Rescue Team in the Municipality
