Greetings to you as I experience my senior year at Richardson High School Kudos (male auxiliary group)
in Richardson, Texas! I am Baraka Ernest Baylor, son of Mr. Leon and
Mrs. Sarah Baylor, a future health care and kinesiology major. I am excited ~Adopt a Highway
to inform you that I have been selected to be a candidate for the title of Mr. ~Buckner Shoe Project
Phi Delta Kappa (PDK), an honor which epitomizes grace, social ~North Texas Food Bank
consciousness, civic responsibility, academics, and leadership. I look ~ Shoes For The Orphan Souls
forward to being presented as a beau in an elegant ceremony at the ~ North Texas Food Bank
Sheraton Hotel (formerly, Adam’s Mark) in Downtown Dallas on Saturday, ~ Southaven Nursing Home
April 30, 2011. Your support of my candidacy, and hopefully your ~ Reading @ the Southwest Mall
attendance will play an important role in my scholastic and social
development . Throughout my four years at Richardson High School, I St. Luke “Community” UMC
have been academically challenged, been active in organizations. and

Additionally, I render service and support in my church at St. Luke ~Youth Fellowship
“Community” United Methodist Church where The Reverend Tyrone ~Children’s Church Aide
Gordon (better known as “Pastor G”) is my pastor. ~Vacation Bible School Aide-
There’s a famous quote which says “It takes a village to raise a child” and Richardson High School
this is why you are so important. I need your help to attain the goal of ~Swim Team
becoming Mr. Phi Delta Kappa and to contributing to youth scholarship ~Senior Interact
efforts to advance higher education ideals. I am asking you as part of my ~Umoja
