1. Design simply supported roof slab for a room 7.5 m x 3.5 m clear in size. 7
The slab is carrying an imposed load of 2.5KN/m2. Use M-20 concrete &
Fe 415 steel. Check the slab for control of deflection & cracking. Show
reinforcement details.
2. Design a simply supported one way RCC slab with clear span of 3m x 8m. 7
Assume the live load as 4kN/m2 and floor finish 1kN/m2. Also show check
for deflection and reinforcement details as per IS: 456.
3. Enlist the reasons when the provisions of doubly reinforced sections are 3
required
4. Explain the difference between one way and two way slab. 3
