Frito-Lay Production Process Discussion:

What type of production process do you think Frito-Lay employs? Explain briefly (in
100 words or less) why you think so.
- If I was to choose between the productions systems, the Batch Production System is
what would stick out as the correct answer. After watching both the 44- and 3-minute
videos, I saw that Lays separates each of their product making by categorizing it as
either corn or potato based, and those two divisions also divide again into the different
flavors of the American chip. There is also the process of how the actual foods are made
and it is like how a bakery operates except its on a massive scale.
