Project Manager

We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to join Medine Ltd | Property

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and implement project strategies and execution plan to support project objectives and overall project
requirement for budget, schedule and quality
• Coordinate and monitor some specific projects, and ensure that their objectives are reached
• Assist for purchasing the relevant and required materials at competitive prices
• Participate in value engineering exercises with QS and contractors
• Participate and advise on problem solving of projects
• Set up of operational budget, operational structure and make cost control
• Participate and advise on selection of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to project
• Monitor and report on the contractor’s overall performance and provide timely advice as to how performance can be
improved
• Measure construction progress and quality of work on a monthly basis
• Propose and analyze quality management plans and offer advice as to how quality can be improved
• Assist in the project procurement requirements including the negotiation and the monitoring process
• Execute any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances as required by the employer

Candidate’s Profile
• Degree in engineering and in Project Management
• 5-8 years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong subcontract and/or material negotiation skills
• Ability to negotiate material/subcontract package on time and under budget
• Strong commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• Planning and organizing skills
• Good judgment and analytical ability
