Discussion
Tropical wave (AOC1) is located along 42W and south of 9N and is moving to the west at 15 knots. Widespread thunderstorms with this wave have increased
over the past few hours, but there is still significant disorganization with this wave. There is a 10% chance of development over the next 72 hours, but the
environment is still highly hostile to intensification. The wave will likely bring increased showers and thunderstorms over the weekend.
